/ Solar panel
The Mighty 4WD campers do have a solar panel attached to the roof that will supplement the charging of the living quarters battery. We provide that general advice based on how guests use the battery. If they are using it to power just the appliances inside the van (eg lights, fridge) then they could get longer off the charge. However if they are charging multiple devices at night or in low light then it will drain faster.

Mighty 4wd has solar and driving will help to charge 12 volt but charge is very small.

To fully charge the battery
We recommend you plug into 240 volt power on your first night and then every two or so days for the house battery to fully charge. The speed of the 12 volt battery drainage will depend on the climate and how often it is used. A full charge takes between 14 to 16 hours and needs to be done at a campground every two or so days.
