We say or similar just in case we need an alternative vehicle but it hasn't happened to date.
On occasions it could be better than the GXL but still a current model Prado.

The 'Daily Basic Rental' is the cost of renting the vehicle per day.
Example: 24 hour cycle Day 1 at 8am till Day 5 at 8am - 5 days but 4 X 24hr cycle.
Example: 24 hour cycle Day 1 at 8am till Day 5 at 5pm - 5 days but 5 X 24hr cycle.
Hours must be nominated at time of booking.

Daily Basic Rental will show you the Bond (if applicable), The Excess (if applicable),
One way fees and extras not included in the 'Daily Basic Rental'.

Quotes are valid for 72 hours

With unlimited kilometers included.

We are flexible on other destinations for much longer rentals even Ayers Rock airport (min 28 or 45 days) please call us or email us but we need full trip plan, exact dates and full contact details.

Vehicles are non-smoking, you and any other passengers must refrain from smoking inside
the Vehicle.

Both Hirer and Authorised Driver must be at least 25 years old and have at least 24 months of driving experience. You must possess a current, unrestricted driver's licence valid for the class of vehicle you are renting. Drivers with provisional or probationary licences are not permitted and cannot operate the vehicle.

If Your licence or the licence of any Authorised Driver has been revoked within two years of the rental agreement's start date, the Vehicle may not be operated. The vehicle may only be driven by You or an Authorised Driver.

You must show Your driver's licence and the licence of any Authorised Driver and give the company permission to make copies of the licences and keep a copy of them. The Hirer and Authorised Driver must supply the Company with the second form of identification if a non-Australian driver's licence is presented, and they must consent to have copies of the ID(s) created and stored by the Company.

Damage to Tyres will be at Clients Cost – if they have a blowout or a puncture then they will have to replace it with a new tyre.
Windscreen will be $1,000 excess as a new windscreens are $1,800 to replace we don’t have free windscreen cover under our policy
Accidental Roll will Be $1,000 excess
Undercarriage Damage will be $1,000
Theft of Vehicle will be $1,000 excess
And if a component of the vehicles stolen it will be the cost of the component or up to a $1,000

In brief it’s a $1,000 excess for each damage that is caused on the car
So if they hit a pole at the front of the car and then reverse into a pole it will be 2 x $1,000 excess as two claims will have to be lodged with our insurance company
The main reason for the excess is to prevent people from damaging the cars.
