Cheapa 4wd Camper
The Cheapa 4WD Camper is perfect for off road adventurers on a budget. The campervan comes with all of the conveniences of a 4WD campervan but at a cheapa price. The 4WD Camper features kitchen facilities Including a Portable propane cooker with propane canisters, fridge and sink, and once you’ve cooked, you can enjoy your meal in the great outdoors underneath the large side awning. The vehicle also comes with a roomy double bed and a handy outdoor solar shower. Far roomier than similar vehicles, this 4WD campervan is ideal for thrill seeking couples who are keen to explore the road less travelled.
Please note: If travelling in a 4WD vehicle please carefully read our special advice for 4WD customers for roads that require permission from Apollo prior to travel and roads that are strictly prohibited. This vehicle is unsuitable for beach driving. Children under the age of 8 years old cannot travel in this vehicle.

4WD RVs
Our 4WD RVs are ready to take adventurous travellers off the beaten track, however for their safety, there are restricted travel areas. For restricted destinations listed below, guests are required to nominate expected travel plans with the branch at pick-up and confirm with relevant local authorities that roads are passable prior to travel.

Not all RVs are suitable for all driving situations, so it’s important the right RV is chosen for the travel planned. THL, at its discretion, may restrict RV travel in certain areas due to adverse road or weather conditions, and the distance to nominated destinations in relation to the length of the rental period.

Agent's notes: Written permission for Restricted Roads means are the road OPEN, SAFE and PASSABLE with no pending adverse road or weather warnings. On the day of pickup at the nominated Cheapa depot for pickup verify with the staff if the roads are open as the Branch gets the Roads NT and WA report daily it’s available also online at state Government website. There is a form that Cheapa will ask you to sign saying which roads you will be going on if any are on the restricted roads list.
