240V
All vehicles that feature air-conditioning / heating and/or microwave in the rear cabin must be connected to 240V commercial campground main power for this to function.
Rear cabin microwave must be connected to 240V mains power to function.
Solar power panels
Solar power panels provide a trickle charge to the 12V battery power supply only, much like the engine battery does when driving. The solar panels will not charge over and above the current draw on the battery, nor will they fully charge it. To fully charge your house battery we recommend plugging into 240V power every two days.

Solar power panels are used as backup, and assist the 12v battery power supply only. Items requiring 240v mains power will not operate from solar power.
Vehicle Notes
Actual vehicles may vary according to year of manufacture and availability but your vehicle will be suitable for the required number of persons and have similar specifications to those listed.
All measurements are approximate, not guaranteed and specs may change any time without prior notice.

Britz has unleashed an innovative camper custom designed for up to four people. With a dinette that converts to a double bed and drop-down double bed above it, this space saving camper will be super popular for a family of four or group of friends. The automatic transmission makes the Discovery a breeze to drive and with the external storage locker, there is plenty of room for your gear.

2WD Campervans can only be driven on sealed/bitumen roads. The only exceptions to this are well-maintained access roads of less than twelve kilometres to recognised campgrounds, major tourist attractions and well-maintained, recognised roads on Kangaroo Island (South Australia). Should a customer wish to travel on an unsealed road that is greater than twelve kilometres in length to access a recognised campground special permission can be arranged pending road condition, weather and distance. Please contact your local representative to discuss at time of booking. The supplier reserves the right at its sole discretion to restrict vehicle movements in certain areas due to adverse road or
weather conditions, and the distance to nominated destinations in relation to the length of the hire period.

All vehicles that feature air-conditioning / heating and/or microwave in the rear cabin must be connected to 240V commercial campground main power for this to function.
Rear cabin microwave must be connected to 240V mains power to function.

The dual battery and charging
First charge when?
We recommend you plug into 240 volt power on your first night and then every two or so days for the house battery to fully charge. The speed of the 12 volt battery drainage will depend on the climate and how often it is used. A full charge takes between 14 to 16 hours and needs to be done at a campground every two or so days.
Fresh water
How often to replace the fresh water?
Top-up the fresh water and empty the waste water every one to two days.
Empty the toilet cassette
How often to empty the toilet cassette?
Empty the toilet cassette every one to two days, or as needed. The waste water tank and toilet cassette must be emptied at an authorised dump station. If you are staying in a Holiday Park, you will have access to one there. Otherwise, use the thl Roadtrip App to search for the closest one. Top-up and empty at every opportunity and you won’t have to worry about a thing!
Keys
Be careful of your keys
Lastly, always remember, have your keys with you when you are outside the camper.
*Solar Panel
How does the solar panel work?
Solar power panels provide a trickle charge to the 12V battery power supply only, much like the engine battery does when driving. The solar panels will not charge over and above the current draw on the battery, nor will they fully charge it. To fully charge your house battery we recommend plugging into 240V power every two days.
Child Seatings
Whats's seating like for children?
All children aged seven years must travel in an approved child restraint. This vehicle has positioning for a total of two child restraints. Child seats (approximate age birth – 3 years) and Booster seats (approximate age 4 + years) can be fitted to the forward facing dinette seats in the vehicle. The type of restraint required for your child depends on their age.
Linen Exchange
Inclusive Pack and the Linen exchange mainly for the east coast routes
This service is included in the Inclusive Pack. This allows you to stop into the closest branch during your hire and swap your linen (pillow, pillowcase, duvet (doona) or sleeping bags (4WDs), sheets and towels) over for a fresh, clean set. Please notify the branch ahead of time as this will ensure the items are available and ready for you when you arrive.
Pets
Can I bring a pet?
Well-behaved dogs or cats are welcome to come along for the trip. A fee per hire applies. This is to cover additional cleaning processes that we undertake.

Up to two cats or dogs may be carried in the campervan. A pet fee of $299 will apply per hire. Pets which travel must be registered, treated for fleas and be controllable. At pick-up and drop-off in our branch locations, customers must ensure that their pet is secure on a lead and is supervised by an adult outside of the branch. Pets must be clean and dry before entering the campervan. Whilst driving, pets must be restrained in the rear of the campervan, avoiding the possibility of distracting the driver. Britz reserves the right to charge the customer a $299 cleaning fee for any animal related soiling of the campervan.
