TECR Hyundai Tucson car hire from Darwin

Our HQ is located in Winnellie, approximately 10km from Darwin Airport. Between 9am and 5pm, we’re happy to pick you up from the airport and bring you to our office where you can complete a vehicle check and settle your account before heading off on your adventure with your hire car. If you’re arriving before or after these hours, a cost of $35 will apply.

When you return your vehicle, we’ll perform a vehicle inspection and can drop you to the airport if you have organised this with us beforehand. Additional charges as mentioned with our pickup service may apply.

You need to be a minimum age of 25 years old and you must have a full, unrestricted Australian driver’s licence.

Operating times are 9 am to 5pm (Monday to Friday). Vehicles can be picked up and dropped off outside of these hours (After hours fees may apply). However, for our customer with our rental vehicle is able to reach us outside working hours - for emergency.

Of course, we want you to drive secure and the security of your loved ones is our prime concern and that’s why we hire baby and booster seats and make them available at very low price of $12.50 per day. A booster seat or baby seat can be added from optional extras when you are booking online from our website.

Important: drivers
You must advise us the drivers age at time of quoting.
The quote is based on drivers being 25-75 with a full license.

• Insurance option: $28/day decrease excess fee from $2500 - $500 (only for drivers from 26years old - 75years old)
• Driver from 21 - 25 years old (excess fee is $3500)
• Drive above 76 years (excess fee is $ 6000)

• No car rental for any drivers less than 21 years and L -driver, P1 - driver, P2 - driver (incl International driver license)

• A $300 security bond will be kept when picking up the car and returned when the car is in good condition
• *A Security Deposit of a $200 pre-authorisation on a credit card is required to hire the vehicle

We accept VISA, MASTERCARD, and Debit Cards. We also accept Basics Card Debit Card (Extra $200 Bond required for all Debit Cards).

Our expectation from the customer is to return the vehicle in the same condition as received. As another customer may be waiting for the vehicle. A checklist will be completed upon returning of vehicle and customers will be informed of any cleaning cost that will occur including our service.
